Well, I am too, although considering the temporary loss of Cotchery, a 2-0 start, and a weak Saints team, why would anyone be disappointed about trying to add a sure handed option here?  This rotation needs a  chance to try to overcome the deserved reputation of being sub-par compared to other teams. I don't care if people "think" Bersin isn't worthy of an NFL roster position, throw him in there. I'm not convinced Philly, Funchess, Norwood, and Bersin are all failures. Opportunity in the NFL can sometimes deliver surprising results. Cotchery being temporarily out of the mix might be one of those situations.

yes someone can be useless on the football field. I didn't say he was useless in life, just on the field, so why don't you exaggerate a little more. If you are offended by that I reccommend you never attend a football game in your life and maybe even try to avoid all social interactions as possible. There is a whole lot worse said.

If there's a choice between Webb or Bersin being activated at WR tomorrow, hopefully they go with Webb. I feel Webb can make something shake or happen. Bersins going down as soon as he catches the ball, and we already have enough WRs on the roster who do that.

Actually what we have 'enough' of is receivers who don't catch the ball in the first place.

Take a look at the Patriots receiving corps. You won't find any 'threat to score every time they touch the ball' wide receivers in that bunch.

I think they've already said Bersin will be active.  In fact isn't that required when you activate a PS player?

Well...if the game involves throwing to Bersin tomorrow things have gone very bad for us.  Cam should only have like 15-17 pass attempts tommorrow IMO.

If he clears waivers I hope he goes to a team that will use him more then we did. People can say he was a bust but how many times was he  in the game for passing plays. And of that number how many times did Cam look his way if the first and second read was not open. I mean look at how many times Ed Dickson is thrown to during a game.

Hmm, I think people advocating for Joe Webb at WR are reading a bit much into a few quotes about that from Rivera.

I highly doubt even Ron (who at this point is probably just about Webb's biggest supporter) actually wants to see that happen. Besides, even if it did, and Webb played less than adequate or made a mistake, the same people would in all likelihood quickly switch to calling for his head. That's the huddle.

Is adopt-a-Panther transferable? Just lost Swole but I'll gladly take in Bersin. 

Williams contributed on Special Teams, but was obviously buried behind Olsen and Dickson on offense. Likely means Brockel is healthy and will be taking over those ST snaps as well.

He's still just a 4th/5th receiver...we need Norwood/Funchess/Ginn/Philly to step up, that's all.

I was never necessarily one of these Bersin lovers but why was he cut again to begin with?! Ginn and Brown are virtually the same exact player, we have our big body in Funchess and Bersin was our most sure handed WR out of any of our current WRs
