About time we pulled the trigger on Williams. It was time to poo or get off the pot. I'm stoked about this move.

I was a Swole Bones stock buyer and wished we'd have used him more, but he's never done anything. Maybe even a ST penalty last week IIRC? 

 

Bersin can catch a ball, can be a safety net for Cam, and move the chains. Just don't put him on punt returns and we're golden.

Anyone who has actually been paying attention should not be much at all surprised by this.

Regardless, I wish Brandon well. Things just never panned out how we had hoped.

I suppose he still could end up on the practice squad, I'm not sure about his eligibility and all that though.

To clarify though, he's an RFA next year anyway, so at this point the odds aren't looking that great.

Daryl Williams

Marlowe

Wegher

Maybe Webb since Bersin will be active?  But who will take his place on S/T?

Maybe one of either Colin Cole or Kyle Love if Star is back?

 

Given that Stew & Fozzy both were dealing with minor injuries, I'm thinking CAP might get activated?  Also, assuming that Luke is out, I'm assuming Mayo will be active again.

Assuming all of our healthy WRs are active.

yeah, he produces....when we insert him in garbage time. 

He isn't physical enough or talented enough IMO to play WR at this level.  I just don't get him being here.  There are hundreds of Bersins....and they aren't on NFL rosters

I would not be shocked to see Wiliams catch on at a team like NE and have big production.

NFL teams want and use freak TEs.  We never throw this guy out into the mix....

and with a weak O....I don't get axing the one freak before you at least throw him out there to see how he is in games.
