The love/hate fest for PU flourishes. You never know what to expect till you hit that thread button. Thumbs up .gif from gladiator.

Only thing about possibilities of arch-enemy's stars being out just gives me the uh-oh's as I'd rather our team prepare as if the Saints are 100% and knowing every game against conference foes are must-wins...which is probably already understood by the coaching staff and my worries are probably moot.

Just glad that this game is at our house and our crowd can pump our team up, no matter who we're facing.

When he's a little more consistent in his quality of started threads I'll think about unblocking him. He's on the right track. I must see more tho.

I was just looking at how cash-strapped the Saints are and how many starters are getting up there in age. Bree's is 26, Colston is 32. Their line is aged and not so great anyway, regardless of their age. The defense is a bit younger, but several key players are aged as well.

its obvious that the Saints window is closed, they got their Super Bowl win and how many years does Brees really have left?

How long till this team just tanks the season and becomes a fire sale? It's gonna take some really solid draft-picks and quite a bit of fenagling the roster around to free up cash, for them to even get a sniff at competing for the division.

Short of Brees retiring and getting a top draft pick in a draft with a sure-fire franchise QB, this team is done.

TB has a young core and will be in the hunt in a couple years and Atlanta is our only true rival in taking this division.

That's the cyclical nature of building and rebuilding a franchise.  You just have to learn when to cut the cord and start the transition while keeping it as painless as possible.

Though, Brees is a little bit older than 26 ;)

green jacket, gold jacket...

yeah, The saints are on their last legs and when you can't win anymore with the best QB you've ever had in your franchises history, their window is definitely closed.

i don't really see any current QB's that are coming into FA any time soon and it took San Diego to draft Rivers for NO to get that franchise changer, it might be a while before they get another dominant team.
