If Bersin is promoted...

Marlowe for sure. He is the least known to other teams and could easily get through waivers.

Kyle Love has performed well, I don't know why his name gets mentioned. Cole is 35 and Edwards is 34 - why would you cut Love (28) who looks just as good and has more years left in him?

don't think for one minute other teams will not know our players.

they all have notes on every player in the league and them some.

there are especially looking for players on waivers or practice squads.

or,  possibly Ben Jacobs

Agree with Igo, Marlowe or Jacobs are probably the most likely candidates.

I think the Panthers are going to roll with Webb as a 5th WR this week though.

Jacobs seems unlikely, he's played roughly 75% of our special teams snaps. Maybe Marlowe, but I'm sticking with Cole as Star is probable for Sunday.

They sat CAP to give Norwood playing time vs. Texicans they'll just sit Cotchery and activate CAP so no one's getting released, but if they did, Marlowe would go

If they brought Bersin up to the regular roster, someone would have to be dropped.

Granted, they may not, but it's an "if" thread.

You might want to re-read the last 6 words of that unedited post again. I did put an "if" in your "if" thread. Still respect ya, tho

wow over 3 pages and not once was Williams mentioned.

and btw, I think this was the right choice.

To tell you the truth, I pretty much forgot about the existence of Brandon Williams!  He's been pretty nearly invisible... So, yes, assuming Brockel is healthy now, this seems like a decent move.

We probably could have gotten by with just Ginn, Brown, Funchess & Norwood, but if Olsen is double-teamed a lot, Bersin gives us another pair of good hands and someone who knows all the routes, and has Cam's confidence.  So, I think it's a good move.
