According to Stats LLC, Carolina's defense has allowed successful offensive plays -- in this case, a "successful" play is defined as one in which the offense picks up 4-plus yards on first down, gains half the yards needed to convert on second down or picks up the first on third down -- only 37.8 percent of the time. We just taught you a new stat! #NOvsCAR

Again, we player Bortles and Mallet so take it with a grain of salt.. but that is still impressive

I don't think those number will suffer that much this week against the Saints either

How does that compare to other defenses?  It seems good but there is no context to how good.

I assume a TD or FG is also considered a successful offensive play.

If we can get our own offensive % up on that SOP stat, we won't have to depend on the defensive stat so much.
