Matchups from PFF - New Feature

PFF is offering a new feature that matches up offenses and defenses in a graphic format while applying their overall grade (opinion) of each specific player.

Here is what the Panthers v Saints looks like..

and here is the key to help decipher the colors assigned to each player.

Looks like PFF does not think very highly of Tolbert and Ealy, huh?

Cam is below average eh? Lol

Along with Remmers. I'll take these two 'below average' guys anytime and be happy.

Even though I don't agree with all the opinions on our players, the color code says one team can compete throughout the season, and the other will struggle.

While I respect the way PFF grades everything, because I could never begin to start that!  I will say they are using TWO games...that's not enough to really measure long term effectiveness.  Also, if we were able to limit the houston passrush (which is worlds better than NO's), then I don't feel that terrified about NO's front seven.

But that's why they play the games.  If the Panthers come out wanting to make a statement, then they will win.  If we allow NO to make some play and get their juices flowing, they are going to win.  It's the nature of football.
