Playing Panthers Takes a Toll

Yes and he had a decent game. A few tackles for loss I think and 2 or 3 passes deflected.

But not the game that a few posters who call themselves critics were expecting.  Truth is that the offensive line has held up pretty well against 2 teams who not only have good defensive lines but who brought pressure early and often.  That hopefully bodes well for the future.

Speaking of the Texans did Clowney even play on Sunday? I didn't even notice him so either he's a huge bust or Oher has been playing pretty well.

Clowney hasn't been 'Watt Junior' like they were hoping, but this was only his 6th game, so too soon to pass judgement.

That is something the "experts" always seem to forget about the Panthers, when we play our game we are hard to beat. Yes, it would be nice to put up offensive number that the "experts" like to suck on, but we are a defensive team at heart, so nobody likes us.

But they will be coming  around real soon.

I was at the game in SF in 13 and it was obvious who was the more physical team when the Niners were considered by everyone to be the most physical team in the league during the Harbaugh years. I was 5 rows behind watching Tolbert KO Eric Reid and our DLine go for 6 sacks on the supposed best OLine in football. It was also a beauty to see Mitchell knock Vernon Davis out of the game and TD run through to gap and bust the ball out of Hunter. We might not win every game but were gonna win every fight

Watts only sack was when Cam took off from the pocket and Watt hit him about a yard or two behind the line of scrimmage, so it wasn't even much of a sack.

Yea, I didn't think it should have even counted as a sack.  Cam was a runner at that point.  I distinctly remember D. Edwards getting screwed out of a sack a couple years ago (can't remember against who) because the QB was running at the time and even though Edwards tackled him well behind the LOS they said he was a runner and Edwards didn't get the sack.
