Bulletin Board Material: 2-0? ESPN is not buying it

When there aren't commercials on BSPN, it's some sob story. Disney can be blamed for their fall. They try to be pop culture mixed with CNN and it's abysmal to watch. I'll still tune in for Berman at night, but that's about it. I actually enjoyed Fox Sports 1 broadcast the other night of their show b/c it feels like vintage sportscenter.

You  win in the NFL with defense. NOT flashy running backs and receivers. That has been proven over and over and over. Look at a lot of the past Super Bowl teams. Great defenses with mediocre to decent offenses. We are better than Atlanta because our defense. I don't give a poo about strength of schedule. Cam has become a great leader on offense and doing what we need him to do. We are controlling the time of possession and playing great defense. That's how you win in the NFL. not by how many flashy offensive players you have.

Wrong , you win in the NFL with a good overall teams. Seattle had a top defense and top running game, Patriots had a  top offense and a top 15 defense. Ravens had a top 15 offense and defense......

Teams with top defense but can't make it anywhere,  Bills, Jets, etc...

I was just watching ESPN (I have no idea why) and one of the guys had the nerve bring up Cam while talking about Andrew Luck. Said that Cam went through this a few years ago and was completely selfish because he put all the turnovers on himself. I was like wtf? Can't y'all go a little while without hating on Cam. Cam has nothing to do with Andrew Luck.

I think you are referring to Bomani Jones. I'm not throwing shade, but that's not what he said. He was saying that critics of Cam were calling him selfish for taking the blame.

He wasn't hating on Cam, he was just pointing out that there is a double standard to the coverage of Cam and Neck beard.

how the fug is two teams in andrew lucks division harder than anything luck has faced since he's in the NFL?

I was talking about our overall schedule, not just the first two damn games.  I mean, come on, that goes without saying.

But since you asked, he gets 6 games every year of the Texans, Jags, and Titans plus whatever other handful of crappy AFC teams he gets to beat up on.  This is the first time we've played the AFC South since Luck was drafted.

"the Panthers are a mediocre team with an easy schedule"

Is this the new line from the media now? So now we're a mediocre team that's just beating up on terrible teams. I want them to say this about the Cowboys, Eagles, NYG, or any big market northeastern team. Show me where they have been this disrespectful to a 2-0 Eagles, NYG, Cowboys team. When, in the hisory of the NFL, has ESPN ever said "the Eagles are 2-0, but they are a mediocre team beating terrible teams" or anything like that. Show me the article. We've had decades of football. Plenty of 2-0 northeastern team. Show me the article where they were called mediocre when they started 2-0. I'm not saying this article doesn't exist, but I want to see it.

ESPN needs some national television media competition. Every years, it's the same old thing, blah, blah, blah. These "Experts" think they know  everything. Maybe once on the field as players but you guys are the same old experts that always give the same opinion.

I wonder if ESPN would consider me an "Expert?" I'm as qualified as these knuckleheads.

ESPN slurps the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck, Tom Brady, etc. Those guys are all great players, but they're all in huge markets. It's all about these guys who are top 5 QB's and no one else matters until they A.) Have a qb like one of these teams or B.) Wins a superbowl. It's all good though, we just need to keep winning.
