Don't be shocked if Luke is out again this week

Good to read this quote from TD today:

Obviously one of the best parts of Luke's game is his smarts & vision.  If he's able to coach like this, it sounds like he's mentally sharp right now at least.

Kuechly is yet to officially participate in practice since suffering a concussion in Week 1, but he's helped his fellow linebackers out at practice the last couple of days.

"He can see things from the sideline, and he understands our defense and has put in a lot of time watching film on New Orleans, so he knows what to expect," Davis said. "He's helping Shaq out, helping A.J. out, even helping me out."

Ryan Vermillion has been the head trainer since 2002, so he was around during Dan Morgan's time with the team.

Everyone in the organization would know Dan's history. Gettleman and Rivera and the rest of the staff have all been around long enough, and these guys know the league, not just the team they worked for at the time.

Copying this from an inferior site Saints game preview - didn't see the original ESPN tweet myself:

From ESPN NFCS blog...

"…according to ESPN Stats and Information, of the 14 linebackers who were on an injury report with a concussion or head injury last season, the average games missed was three."
