Luke likely a no go Sunday

Have I mentioned my iPhone sucks at posting BBR links?! Anyways, per Voth, Luke no helmet or pads again today, hes thinking he's a no go for Sunday. Frankly if Mccown is playing, I still think we would win that game if we pulled a San Antonio Spurs and sat all our starters, in other words,  I'm very confident about this game.

I hope he rests but it's time for the team to disclose the severity of his injury

First of all the ultimate decision is an independent doctor not the Panthers so really they wont know until he is cleared.  Secondly even if we know why would we make it public? So you know what is going on as well as every team we face this week and going forward? There is a reason that New Orleans hasnt said if Brees is playing or not and that is not to give the other team an advantage in practice.  Apparently that is more important than whether or not the fans know before the game.  I suspect the answer is that we will know when the Panthers know which is out of their hands.

But there is a reason he isn't seeing the doctor... it's not like he has to wait for an appointment, the team's healthcare provider is Carolinas Healthcare, he could see every specialist today if needed. My worry is that this was a severe concussion and he has not even progressed yet to the stage to see an independent neurologist.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Panthers are being slow about sending him to the independent doctor. If he gets cleared then we would have a hard time keeping Luke off the field.  If we slow it down because we don't want to risk him coming back too soon and reinjuring  himself we can simply be very cautious about even sending to the iD. It wasn't as if he was unconscious at any time which is often the case with serious concussions.
