First Home Game For Us

My wife and I live in Texas and will be driving to BofA on Friday afternoon to go to our first home game. Pretty f'n stoked. I just wanted to know  when and where is the place to be for pre game drinking and festivities. Also, my wife wants to do this white water rafting thing in Charlotte? Anyone been and have any opinions or info on it?

The Whitewater Center is awesome as said above. As far as drinking, might want to try to link up with the Roaring Riot, I'm sure they'd welcome you especially since you're an out of town fan. I think all they ask for is a cash donation and they supply food and alcohol before the game. NC doesn't sell alcohol before 12 PM on Sundays so...there's that.

The Riot has the best tailgate in Charlotte hands down. 600 S Cedar St just look for the madness.

White water center is good, but you'll be there all day (I assume you're going on Saturday?)  If you've never been to Charlotte I would probably try to explore the city.  

The Riot tailgate info is in the Roaring Riot section.  It's definitely where you'll want to be.  The atmosphere is awesome and you'll be able to meet a bunch of Huddlers.  I'll be there on Sunday with my wife.

That white water rafting place caught my attention as well when they showed it during the Houston/Carolina broadcast. Definitely something I'd be interested in checking out when I come down for the Indy game, that's of course if it doesn't cut into my drinking time by too much

Go to as many breweries as you can CLT has become a great city for that. Lots of great options and atmospheres. 

NoDa, Olde Meck, Sugar Creek, Birdsong, Triple C, Unknown ...the list goes on.
