Resiliency of Philly Brown, fellow Panthers receivers spreads to team

so we just can't get past the  philly dislike.. no matter if he does good or bad. I guess Ginn said it best in his B/R interview "I don't have a problem with Philly." You guys do." I just want us to continue to win.

He's improving, hence me giving him praise for high pointing the ball.  But the kid just does not have a natural ability to catch with his hands.  He would be dangerous if that was his natural instinct.  This game is a game of mere inches, and when you take ~34" arms out of the equation, you're at a huge disadvantage.

That is correct. He just needs to continue to improve. Played running back most of his football life and switch over to wr in college which is probably why he did not have that natural instinct to catch with his hand but instead just to catch the balll no matter how you do it. I guess he is a work in progress. I hope he continues to improve if he does then he will have a great year/career.

thomas, learn to cut & paste correctly

To be fair, it's not his fault.  Every single thing I post from the Observer, I have to go back and edit to take out that dang "read more" link.  It's always vertical like that.  Have no idea why.

It's HIDDEN and does not show up until after one hits submit.   Of course you can first paste into Word or something and then the read more link will show and you can delete it before pasting stuff into the Huddle, but it is a PAIN in the butt either way.

Oh you mean this one?   Then his hands must be attached to his rib cage.  This is not high pointing the ball with your hands.

How was that not a high point? You're allowed to bring the ball into your body when you catch it you know.

Yea I just went to that site.  I don't normally go the charlotte observer.  Holy crap there are a LOT of connections to ad-hosting servers.

Its sad that there is a lower risk of infecting your computer on a porn site than most legitimate news sites these days.

Body catching receivers need not apply.

Can anyone name a dominant WR on a championship team that was a body catcher? I think we are finding out why no one wanted Philly. Same with Ginn.

Not off the top of my head but I could name many championship teams that didn't have dominant WR

Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse are dominate yeah.

Good catch because he didn't drop it and it was a TD

But so far both of his TDs have been body catches. He might get his hands on the ball when its arriving, but he's typically not extending his arms for the ball and if it's not hitting him in the stomach than I'ma scared T_T

I wouldn't mind seeing Norwood and Funchess more involved in the offense, but so long as Philly keeps making plays like that he can body catch all he wants as far as I'm concerned.
