I don't do the praying thing but just urge you to stay strong for her. Nothing is more comforting to someone laying in a hospital bed than calm folks around them.  Trust in the doctors. Good luck to y'all!

my girlfriend and high school sweetheart was diagnosed yesterday with a cyst in her pineal gland. for those who dont know, the pineal glad is part of the brain stem. yesterday, she temporarily lost use of her right arm and had stroke-like symptoms. please, everyone. she needs your prayers. as do i, since i have to be strong for her. there's a good chance that she will need brain surgery, but unfortunately... there's also a possibility that surgery wont be feasible, seeing as how it is a brain issue. im no doctor, so i dont know more than that. just wanted to bring this to my Huddle family for your prayers to go her way.

I recently fought and won my battle with cancer and I went to Duke to get treated and to have surgery.  The people there really are fantastic, their bedside manner, professionalism and expertise in their field is amazing.  Never did I feel like I was in the wrong place for treatment.

I'd highly recommend she goes there, if even for just another opinion.  Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about it...I'd be more than happy to answer or even jump on a call with you.  

It's scary poo, man, but it is beatable...never forget that.

Terrible news to hear.  There is a physician that's powerful enough to heal her, and He's still at work.  I pray the news, and her condition, does nothing but improve.
