Four Quarters

Ron has said in the past that he views the regular season as four quarters. Seeing as our first quarter is the easiest part of the schedule, do you think Ron might be saving some surprises for our tougher stretch? (2nd quarter, games 5-8)

Is he just being typically cautious or is he downplaying Funchess, Norwood, and CAP's progress so that he can unleash them against the Hawks?

Does he keep Luke and Star's playing time to a minimum until the 2nd quarter? Do we unveil some previously unseen blitz packages in week 6?

The most important question being, Does he thinks he's already won the first quarter and go out against the Saints and lay a patented early season egg, Rivera style?

I eagerly await your theories.

Agreed, I was just kicking around a possibility of why we always seem to play the second half of the season so much better than the first under Ron.
