Looking at our roster

The roster right now looks like on defense a floor of an above-average defense and a ceiling of a superior defense.  On offense, based on the current roster we have a floor of a sub-par offense with a ceiling of an average offense.  We can definitely make the playoffs with this roster- time will tell if there is enough development (and health and luck) on the offense to make this team capable of being a SB contender.

Nice analysis.  I like how you give floors & ceilings to defense & offense.  I think I'd knock the offense's ceiling up a little bit.  Leave the floor at sub-par because as you say, we're still dangerously thin at Oline, and inconsistent / unproven at WR.  But I think the ceiling is above average.  We made JJ Watt and Houston look pretty "Meh" on Sunday.  We had a lot more big plays than I would have expected (10 yard runs / 25 yard passes) - many more than against JAX.  Barring new / major injuries, I think this O could get into a good groove and surprise us.  Cam seems to have an extra gear at times and that alone causes me to notch up the Offense's ceiling a bit.

Either way he's not even close to the 2nd most important player on our team.

disagree. Look at the talent drop off. To borrow a baseball term KB war rating would be around 5.0 and his lost to me is worth close to 2 wins.

Id even listen to a DA + KB would put up simlar numbers/results in certin games as cam - KB discussion. KB was a great fit and I believe you're underrating his value on this 2015 team(including shula and Ron).
