Huddle, circa May '15...

fug GETTLEMAN THAT JACK OFF GOT RID OF SMITTY HARDY AND D-WILL AND HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO BUILD AROUND HIS QB HE'S RUINING CAM'S CAREER LOOK AT INDY THOSE GUYS ARE SMART THEY HAVE A FRANCHISE QB AND THEY ARE BUILDING AROUND HIM THEY'RE PUSHING FOR THE SUPER BOWL AND WE'RE SITTING ON A 7 WIN ROSTER fug GETTLEMAN fug RICHARDSON fug RIVERA fug SHULA

Meanwhile, at Lucas Oil Stadium...

The Colts are sitting ugly at 0-2.

The Owner is sitting in his office, nearly blackout drunk, snorting cocaine off the belly of a 8mo pregnant 21yo stripper named Vixen.

The GM is sitting in his office trying to figure out how he can trade future 1st Rd draft picks for another WR. He's positive if they can get just one more great WR it'll fix all of their problems. Also, it'll really bolster his all-colts fantasy football roster.

The HC is sitting in his office sucking his thumb and crying. He knows he's gonna lose his job. He knows the GM has given him a shitty roster. He knows his QB is a turnover machine. But he doesn't know how to fix any of it.

The QB is standing in the bathroom looking at himself in the mirror, 'mirin that badass neanderthal look he's rocking.

Hmmmm...

Has anyone ever seen Ryan Grigson and Matt Millen in the same room?

i don't think luck has what it takes to handle the mental side of the game.  he seems over-reliant on his athleticism tbh and i'm not sure if he can read NFL defenses.  maybe try him at tight end?

Funny thing about that...

People praised the Colts for hiring his college OC and keeping him in the same system.

I remember thinking I'd rather see him work with a pro coach that'd force him to stretch.

It looked like what they had done was working well for a while. Now I'm starting to wonder again.

Either way, between the internal discord and the lousy roster building, Indy is primed to be a dumpster fire this year.

I wonder what the "why can't we be like the Colts" crowd will say to that.

It can't be Luck, it is impossible.  Don'tcha remember they already started his Bust for the HOF during the 2012 draft.  Now if anyone admitted he sucks than they just wasted all that Bronze.

Man the old Man must have some serious Clout.   You remember Oliver Luck the QB that just missed the HOF.  You know the old saying.  The apple don't fall too far from the Tree.  Oliver just missed the HOF.  Sonny boy has got to be a shoe in.

I find it hilarious. Luck has so many weapons some have to wait on the sidelines just to get in the freaking game.

Arrrrggghhhhh

Haven't read the thread, but I love how people are claiming Andre is done. This is the same guy that put up 85/936/3 with the Fitzpatrick/Keenum/Mallett poo poo platter at QB last year. Now 9 months later he's suddenly got a giant fork sticking out of his back?

Sure.

When it happens, it often happens quickly.

I would take anyone of those weapons Luck have on the outside. Just saying. Luck is just over hyped!! PERIOD!

Are you willing to give up TD, or Luke, or KK, or KB to get them?  How about Remmers or Turner?

The Colts are doing to Luck, almost exactly what they did to Manning 1...surround him with top tier weapons, but forget about the D and O Line.

Not sure why we'd have to choose between some of those players and weapons.

The two biggest mistakes imo were passing on Alshon for Amini and Allen Robinson for Ealy. Alshon would be in his final year right now and with Robinson and KB we could let him walk. Obviously who knows where we'd be draft position wise from year to year if we would've drafted Alshon, but just with these 2 simple moves we could've been set. These aren't "well looking back" type moves either these were simple decisions but they ignored the need for a WR.

We don't draft for need. Nor should we.
