Yeah, believe it or not I agree with your point. Maybe not so drastic but we're conservative to the point of ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZ

If there is a guy the team needs they need to go out there and get him. I can respect ATL going and getting Julio and NO going out there and getting Cooks. 

Panthers just seem to wait for a guy to fall or bet on the Dwayne Jarretts of the world

Traded up for Funchess. Traded up for D. Williams. You don't build depth overnight. We still have 3 Hurney contracts on the team. It doesn't happen overnight. If KB doesn't go down this is a dangerous offense. The depth will come as Gettleman gets more drafts and the Hurney contracts expire/or are terminated.

You can't be in the position in the NFL where your WR position is so thing one injury takes you from respectable to a tire fire. 

The Panthers are fine at almost every position in this regard except WR and offensive line. (obviously Cam too but lets be real no team can survive losing their top qb).

It's a question of scouting and allocating resources and the Panthers have done terribly at it in the WR position for nearly a decade and a half.
