Cotchery has High Ankle Sprain

Just wondering...  IF we had to sit Cotch for a few weeks and decided to call up Bersin, who would we release or risk on waivers to send to the PS?   Thoughts?

Has anyone seen any news on Brockel and his prognosis?  I think he finally was practicing last week...

If Star is ready to play I could see us cutting Cole or Love. We don't normally carry 5 (healthy) DTs.

Doesn't seem to be much room elsewhere, aside from maybe cutting a project player (Mayo, Wegher, Marlowe) or special teams ace  (Webb, Brockel, Jacobs, etc.).

I always thought a high ankle sprain was a significant, multiple weeks if not more to heal type injury?

It is. The "back for the Saints game" predictions by Ron are absurdly optimistic. He did go back in which is a positive but ankle sprains usually don't truly flare up until the next day.

If Star is 100% then possibly Colin Cole who appears to have fallen behind Kyle Love in the 1T pecking order.
