Overreaction Monday

Add in the fact that Chancellor is holding out and more than like the team is dividing again and its not looking good for the Hawks.

Pretty sure the last team to go 0-2 and make the playoffs was us in 2013. Odds are certainly against them from here on out.

What overreactions have you guys heard today around the league?

I'll start.

Falcons are the best team in the NFC.

Eagles are STILL better than Carolina (I wish I was joking on this).

Yep. I saw an article this morning that is dogging the Panthers, saying it's just a matter of time before our receivers are "exposed", which is funny because I thought everyone knew that. Also, according to that article, we don't face a legitimate opponent until week 6, the 0-2 Seahawks.

I really feel that Carol has effectively destroyed this team with how Wilson got paid. No matter how the media portrays Wilson I really believe he is the one dividing the team. That and the loss of both there defensive mind has cause the Hawks to tailspin. NE is good every year not because they have more weapons but really good coordinators and players that play well together.

Well there was that story a while ago about how half the team hated Wilson because he was "too white" and the other half liked him and thought that was nonsense and the entire locker room was divided. Then not giving to Marshawn on the goal line divided the locker room even more. I don't necessarily believe that stuff but I do think they've got issues in their locker room. Wilson will probably hold a players only meeting soon and he'll give a big speech about how God told him to lead the team like Moses and all that nonsense and half the players will be like what the fug is this guy smoking and it'll make it even worse.

Its just my opinion but when a team leader like Chancellor is holding out there is a major divide. Sherman even looks average when he is not cleaning up his mistakes.

Exactly. I think Kam is the most important player on that D. He's the heart and soul of their D like TD is for ours.

I'm beginning to wonder if Tom Coughlin just doesn't have it anymore.

He's a sharp football mind, but lately his gameday coaching hasn't been very good.

Let me ask you this, do you think Eli does better in a different system without Coughlin? I know he's not the OC, and I know Eli won the superbowl with Coughlin and has had some quiet yet good seasons there. But I just don't think something is right there. It's either Coughlin, or Eli.
