I was at a sh*tty bar today with all Pittsburgh fans screaming their head off every time that overpaid RB that used to play for us ran for 3 yards, so my viewing conditions were not great. Therefore I couldn't really tell who was in on each play unless they showed better angles of the plays on replays. Did Norwood play much outside of the INT play? Did he have any other targets before that? That was a horrible horrible drop that should have been a TD (thankfully Philly didn't drop that TD either, I was worried there) but I gotta give him credit for sticking with the play and running the DB down and getting the forced fumble. Still have a lot of hope for this kid. And once Funchess comes into his own and we get KB back our WR group could be very formidable with KB, Funch, Philly, Ginn and Norwood. Discuss.

I only noticed him on two plays personally.

He may have been in on more, but not very many at all for sure.

He made little to no impact that i saw.  Was looking for him but diddnt see much.

Funch had a few more snaps this week with 1 catch i belive.

 

There were an awful amount of tipped passes today so maybe the recivers were not that ba....never mind for 90% of the game no WRs really showed up IMO

Funch's one catch was for a 1st down too.

The tip caused the ball to be out in front of him and it was wobbling badly. Not a perfect pass to catch, but he should've got it,  no doubt, the Ginn drop was a perfect pass. Norwood also got held once for a 5 TD penalty and automatic 1st down. That was all that I saw

Our passing game is gonna be a lot like Seattle's this year. Somebody just step and make the play when their name is called. Nobody is gonna get close to a 100 yds in a game outside of Olsen but he will doubled all season so whoever is getting it thrown their way has to make a play, that will determine offensive success.

No doubt.  They guys made the plays when they needed to.  Just made it hard to watch at times.

Norwood should have had it, but in fairness it kind of looked like a duck because Cam's arm I think got hit.

Way to early on how he will be. Sure the INT today was not good but one pass or failure to catch don't make a player. I would like to see him on the field a little more. Don't know why but I have a good feeling about this kid!

Yes the pass was tipped which made it very difficult to catch but what saw was good. I dont know what the thinking is when ginn went out they put webb in the game. Bad coaching all day on offense if you ask me.

All I know is that if Bersin would've dropped it like Norwood did then he would be crucified. But that wouldn't happen...because Bersin would not drop it.

All our receivers are going to have to do better. Once we get to the meat of our schedule, we are not going to be able to basically cruise to victories on glorified cruise control because better teams will score more points.  Lord forbid that we are forced to play from behind because we need the pass to set up the run as better teams are going to respect our passing game less than suspect teams like the Jags and Texans.
