Pryd, I understand completely the sentiment of a guy saying he didn't want to be here etc. turning fans off. I didn't much like it myself. But saying they are afraid to get rid of him, I am not so sure that's valid. They did get rid of Jenks who was a malcontent and yet still a good player. I think sometimes franchises put up with that stuff because they feel the player's value eclipses any of that. See Donovin Darius and Lance Briggs. The Panthers welcomed Moose back with alacrity and he talked a little bit of mess when he left.
