What is funny to me is that he caught two passes in the live game last week and noone said anything even if it was for a small amout of yards. He drops them in practice and look another I philly brown should be cut mention.

I guess that is what it what it is (Philly Brown). just hope that he can just continue to do it in the live games. it seems like the ones that were solid catchers in practice last week were the solid droppers even if that is a word lol.

Philly made 2 pretty good catches week 1. One where he was blasted from behind nearly simultaneous to when the ball got there. He wasn't a world beater against Jacksonville but it was a marked improvement over his preseason form.

WRs with horrible hands do actually catch some balls...when it occurs it doesn't change the reality of the situation

Again I agree with the principle but I think you have RP's opinion a little too high.

This remains a RR call and (IMO) he will ride to the edge of the universe and back with the same tired lineup he knows rather than make the necessary changes.

gellteman believed in Funchess enough to give up draft picks to get him. Picks that could have been used on o line depth.

Funchess was in for a couple plays. 26 to be exact. Norwood likely will this week. He completely changed offensive systems and had to learn that as well as the playbook.

 

Bellichick can do that if he picks up a veteran but not a young guy like Norwood.

I think that day might just be coming, but I sense it's still a few weeks away.

It'll be just like last year, when people (me) would point out how bad our offense looked, and just get smug "2-0" as an answer. Then we proceeded to get absolutely blown out until Rivera finally fixed the depth chart around week 10.

Brown isn't in a slump he's never been good...he was over-hyped for whatever reason to begin with.

CFL player at best but hell even those guys have standards man...can't be a WR at any level if you can't actually catch the fuging ball.
