Any time a team benches their starter to go with a back-up the week they play the Panthers I get anxious.

I guess it's the Tony Romo PTSD. I'll just sit back and try to be optimistic and try not to believe that Mallet will have a career game against us...

I hear you on that - I remember that butt kicking very well. Didn't Romo have 5 TDs or something ridiculous like that.

But Mallett is not a future elite QB. He is a statue in the pocket. Panthers gonna eat good Sunday!

No excuse why we shouldn't shut them out.  Mallet is a bust and blue is a bum , norman will lock Hopkins , cecil shorts and washington are nothing . We should have a shutout or hold them to only field goals. Its going to come down to offense , can we score vs watt

I never wanted Mallet, his attitude and past bothered me. He just never impressed me in the field either.

 

Their starting a guy who lost a QB competition to Brian Hoyer...without Arian Foster...without their All Pro LT.

Mallett is in for a rude awakening. Who do they try in Week 3?
