I didn't realize we had no weaknesses to explore or to discuss must celebrate 13 point offensive showing vs the JAGS.

Ginn dropped a sure TD pass that's worth discussing regardless of if we won or not and doesn't mean we aren't happy with a win.

Having Shula on or associated with the team in any way, shape, or form warrants discussion.

It's the 100% doom and gloom posts on Monday morning that some of us get tired of dude- the ones that show zero satisfaction with a win.

And yeah, we must 'discuss' Shula in every thread, since he hasn't been brought up at all in the last 10 seconds.

I'm not sure it can be called exploration. People regurgitate the same drivel time and time again. How many "Our WR's suck" threads are we going to have? How many "But Shula..." discussions are going to take place?

Everyone gets it. Just enjoy a regular season win for at least a day.

I'm not oblivious to weaknesses. I am a homer, but everyone here is unless they are in denial.

Some people just complain so much I wonder what they get out of watching the Panthers, aside for more poo to bitch about.

...we won our season opener!

But I know that's not what really matters....right?...

Now all of you can continue with your "But our WR's blah blah," "Shula whaaa whaaa," and "Stewart is old, fat, slow, and stupid," threads.

I totally agree!

(Ummmm... except for the Shula part.  He sucks. :P )

I think people are so afraid the team is going to let them down or they dont want to drink the Koolaid and get all excited only to get disappointed so they constantly have to play the doom and gloom card. Maybe it is just the homer in me but I always expect to win every game and am disappointed when we don't  But instead of getting cynical or jaded I just come out next week expecting to win yet again.  I just like the half full scenario versus the half empty one.

I am a true full-blooded Panther fan, But I am also a NFL football fan. So if you cant see that we played a rough game and that if we were playing a top tier team, we would have gotten our ass handed to us.

I just cant understand Shula's play calling. It's like he doesnt care until the season is on the line and then I guess Dad calls in and tells him the plays to run. As long as Shula is the OC, Cam will not be considered a top tier QB. If you cant see how Shula's play calling is holding Cam back, you just dont understand the whole concept of football.

Agreed! Here's how I see winning...

You can:

A) WIN by a lot!

B) WIN by a little!

C) LOSE

Obviously, we'll take A or B.  Now that you've won, whether you win by a little or win by a lot, you still won and you better be finding what you need to fix or do better for your next opponent. We won. We'll continue to get better or we'll lose.  Regardless of how you play, you better play better the next week (in theory). Nothing that happened yesterday was devastating. Stay the course, stay even.
