Based on some of the other games I saw today, I wouldn't be so sure about that.

Everybody looks sloppy week one. It's if you still look sloppy by week four or five that you should start to worry.

i got the sense that neither team wanted to win..up until that pick 6 the game was garbage on both sides..we still have a ton of work to do on the offensive side of the ball..i must say other than the pick cam threw he was pretty good today sucks that our receivers had brick hands though

I see what you mean, but we can also say it's a different game if Ginn doesn't drop a wide open TD pass and Greg Olsen doesn't get his touchdown removed by the weakest "push off" call I have seen in a long time.

I still swear the only "contact" I saw there was on the chip block by Olsen, and I've never remotely heard of that being PI before.

Seriously. Olsen's arm placement on the defender was standard stuff. I see it multiple times every game. Normally the refs look for a clear "extension" of the arm, many times needing to see a locked elbow.

I gave a slight "are you kidding me" chuckle when the flag was thrown.

It would also be a different game if the refs didn't cheat Olsen out of a TD and take away a clear 1st down sneak by Cam to sustain a good drive.

Take away add the Dropped TD by Ginn and it is a different game.

We can sit here and say woulda, coulda, shoulda all day long but the bottom line is all of it is part of the game.
