Seymour is the same age as Peppers, had 8 sacks last year and has a career total of 39 sacks since 2001.

Peppers had 14.5 sacks last year and has a career total of 70.5 since 2002.

Why again would we trade Peppers for Seymour? I realize Seymour is a 3-4 DE and hasn't had as many opportunities to go after the QB as Peppers, but I don't see how Seymour would be an upgrade over Peppers - Peppers is one of the best.
