Sorry... But this deserves a thread. How in the fug has he ran so well tonight? The line has been great, yes. But the dude has actually looked like he did back in 2008. I thought he was washed up, and I know this is only one game, but now I'm starting to think that he was just being a lazy bum sitting on that large contract of his the past few years. fug him. He's no longer a Panther in my mind. Move if you want, but I can't believe this sh*t.

because the Steelers don't use read option as main run. Before Cam, Williams was great taking a traditional handoff...

DWill has always been an excellent back from Day 1. However, he was grossly overpaid (As is Jon Stewart) by the idiot Marty Hurney.

So there is/was much hate when he struggles to perform behind the same Oline Cam tried to succeed with in the recent past.

I've always liked deangelo, but hearing that he decided to lose 15 lbs just comes off as lazy his last few years here. 

Don't get me wrong, I have always envied Pittsburgh's offensive scheme and philosophy since they drafted Big Ben (which is why I wanted to hire Arians), and I'm sure their system makes a lot of guys look better because they play to their strengths...   But still, if he knew he had 15 lbs to spare and was getting older, why wait until now? 

Which goes back to my point about our franchise historically not brining in competition to challenge incumbents, simply because they produced prior.

I always liked DeAngelo, so I hope he continues to do well. He was a classy guy while he was here and I harbor zero ill will towards him. He was always our best back anyway, so I am not sure why this is shocking anyone.

The truth is our offensive scheme sucks and we have one of the worst coordinators in the NFL and our line was garbage most of the year. I was defending Deangelo all last season, wasn't his fault that he had defenders on him as soon as he touched the ball. But yall were mad because we wasn't going hulk on defenders. Give him some space and he's one of the best in the league. 

GIVE HIM SPACE lol that's the biggest crock of poo endorsement when it comes to running backs. 

give anybody space and they'll produce. a real talented running back muscles through those tacklers and always moves the chains. The only thing deangelo was good at here since 2010 was being an oft-injured spoiled brat who couldn't hack it, and this game he's having has a lot more to do with the Patriots defensive line basically being dominated than anything else.

I know people think Stewie will have a big season but I just don't see it, I think Stewart will be DWill of this year, complacent and will struggle because he knows he's getting cut. I've said it once and I will say it again, Stewart will be benched by mid season and CAP will start and go beast mode
