Sorry... But this deserves a thread. How in the fug has he ran so well tonight? The line has been great, yes. But the dude has actually looked like he did back in 2008. I thought he was washed up, and I know this is only one game, but now I'm starting to think that he was just being a lazy bum sitting on that large contract of his the past few years. fug him. He's no longer a Panther in my mind. Move if you want, but I can't believe this sh*t.

Heck  Yeah he is lazy....I think I heard he was 15 lbs lighter, just that is a conversation to have its own thread.  I'm tipsy and guess what...he has to retire as a panther  for his accomplishments but man ohh man this is a convo, I believe he had animosity with our organization and still does, unless it's more personal with change in coaching

The truth is our offensive scheme sucks and we have one of the worst coordinators in the NFL and our line was garbage most of the year. I was defending Deangelo all last season, wasn't his fault that he had defenders on him as soon as he touched the ball. But yall were mad because we wasn't going hulk on defenders. Give him some space and he's one of the best in the league.

I love the huddles' excuse for literally every player that does even somewhat decent somewhere else.

Could it be that the Panthers coaching and personal maybe did not use players properly, or maybe there wasn't enough talent/right players around them here to do much.

seriously....every player that leaves and does somewhat well. There is a trend, we aren't like other teams who have the personal to coach almost anyone. Sure there are other factors, and I'm not saying it wasn't the players time to go but this organization can share the blame, there's a trend lately.

    • the audio made it hard to watch?  (I know what you meant--just laughed)
    • He is probably going to be a good player, a chess piece, but it depends on how he is used.  My point earlier, Frankie Luvu was nothing but a special teams player for the Jets and we picked him up and used him better.  That led to a $31m, 3 year contract.  Same player, different systems.
    • While you might be right, your inference here is that Luvu is not what you call Walker (versatile, competitive, motor--Luvu is all of those too).  Aside from that, the Luvu comparison was in relation to the Panthers to give people a player we have had with a similar skill set.  It is biased when you talk about college players (with an average first round non-bust rate of about 53%) as "bigtime...great...and absolutely."  You don't know that, and I would never say that about any player.   What we know:  Walker had a year of production in college and is rated a top 30 player.  Luvu recently signed a $31m contract.  I like Walker too, but I am not hugging his nuts at this point.
