Is it me, or are there a lot of analyst ACTUALLY picking the Jags?

Ron's teams start slow

Worst WR corp in the NFL

Defense is built/schemed to live and die on DL play (Star out and an unconditioned CJ)

Question exist about if OL can run block (Kalil's actual condition for the game a question too)

An away game

I don't think it's a huge slap in the face to question who wins what should be a close game.  I think we have the edge but I think it is a close game.  I mean we have shown we can lose games just on our inability to punt a football

BR, ESPN with Jeff Saturday.  Herm Edwards saying this is a tough decision.  I just don't get it.

Probably what you get when you do an in depth analysis, like looking at last season's record, seeing no mind blowing draft picks or FA signings, and deciding that we're probably even worse this year, since Gettleman and Rivera are both idiots.

I don't know about the experts but Vegas has us around 3 point favorites. Add in 3 the Jags automatically get for home field advantage and we sit at a 6 point favorite (meaning all else equal, we are 6 points better than them). Considering how NFL betting lines are, 6 points is actually a pretty big point differential. Too many questions to have us favored anymore. Experts are picking on potential right now, not reality. Everyone wants to be known as the person who 'called' the impossible.

We will win by 10+

Maybe in previous seasons, but we started 3-2 last season..  This starting slow crap is getting old

First half of the season we buried ourselves.  We won 3 games the first 13 weeks of the season.

Also beating 2 horrible teams and one shooting themselves in the foot....getting 3 wins doesn't mean your football team was ready.

They lost their big weapon in Julien Thomas, we lost KB so that's a wash, they also lost their starting DE. I don't get it.

For what it's worth, currently a majority of ESPN analysts have the Rams beating the Seahawks week 1. So there's that, but still.

Probably has something to do with what "appears" to be a significantly improved Bortles going into year 2.....if that is true, that one improvement is legitimately BIG in terms of impacting their overall team.

    • BB building a NFL caliber program. We training entirely different. The guys we had this year will be stronger, smarter, faster. The transfers are coming.    Im more worried about the QB position. We have to hit on that guy.
    • https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/3162765/report-forsberg-vejmelka-vladar-on-hurricanes-radar The Carolina Hurricanes are eyeing a trio of goaltenders to fortify their depth between the pipes. Ottawa's Anton Forsberg, Utah's Karel Vejmelka, and Calgary's Dan Vladar are on Carolina's radar, reports The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun. However, none of those teams are in sell mode yet and might not be at all depending on how their seasons go, LeBrun notes. All three goalies are pending unrestricted free agents. Forsberg has posted an .889 save percentage in 11 games with the Senators this campaign as Linus Ullmark's backup. The 32-year-old journeyman previously spent time in Raleigh during in 2019-20. Vejmelka has emerged as Utah's starter this season, registering a sparkling .915 save percentage in 17 appearances. Vladar has struggled with an .885 save percentage in 16 games while sharing the Flames' crease with Dustin Wolf. The Canes also reportedly spoke to the Anaheim Ducks about John Gibson after missing out on Mackenzie Blackwood, who was dealt to the Colorado Avalanche on Dec. 9. Pyotr Kochetkov has struggled with an .895 save percentage in 18 games as Carolina's No. 1 goalie this season. Veteran netminder Frederik Andersen hasn't played since October and was given an eight-week timeline after undergoing knee surgery in late November.
    • I haven’t seen him play, but if he doesn’t get separation and he’s slow, that doesn’t sound like a top 5 WR
