reasons to be optimistic

1) we have a really good defense, the kind you can take on the road in a hostile environment and quiet a crowd.

2) the emergence of the o-line... It looks like Getty hit a homerun with the pick-up of Oher, if he and the others can continue their good play thru the season, then we have another weapon to take on the road, a running game.

3) and of course Cam Newton... Dude got paid and will be looking to show people he's worth it. With a much improved line, he should be able to pick defenses apart, and when plays fall apart he can run.
