Man when Kelli broke up with me in 11th grade, "In the End" by Lincoln Park was there to console me.

Now I hear it on the radio and laugh at my 11th grade self.

There was just way too much poseur rap metal/nu metal garbage out there during my impressionable years. I think session is the only Linkin Park song that I still find moderately listenable, and that's because none of those assholes were trying to sing or rap.

 

Even their name pisses me off when I look at it now. They had to stylize it and intentionally misspell Lincoln like poseurs. It couldn't be worse if they added to the end and made their name "Linkin Park Boyz" or some poo.

 

On an unrelated note, I am ashamed to admit that I used to get that "AWWWWWSHITSON!" feeling when Bawidaba would start up.
