Rivera to media.. "Only concern around here about our WRs is from you guys."

I agree he shouldn't blast his players in the media but lets not act like he has to be nice either plenty of coaches have said more than this and still remain diplomatic in their speech.

I think Rivera is saying this because he believes it or a part of him does..Reminds me of last year with the OT situation we were saying the same thing..it was just a smokescreen on Rons part he really doesn't mean what he's saying. lol

Yep.ally don't understand why everyone is having a problem with the WR's. A great QB will make them look good. Cam is great. Unless you don't believe that and are taking a backhanded swipe at our QB.

Can we at least play a game before everyone goes in the shitter over our team.

yep.  Brady has done it for 14 years

I know, this isn't sexy or groundbreaking news, but I like his confidence in our WR corps, for him to be that confident and defiant in telling the media that makes me think he is either A. In denial or B. He has loved what he has seen in practice the last few days from our WRs that the media didn't see and was cutoff from and he really feels like that. I hope it's B.

Oh he said this today BTW during our presser

He has always loved what he has seen in practice.

That is why Nate Chandler, Byron Bell, Amini Silatolu, DeAngelo Williams, Dwan Edwards, Wes Horton, AJ Klein, Thomas DeCoud, Antoine Cason, Roman Harper, Melvin White, Haruki Nakamura, Charles Godfrey, and Josh Thomas have been his chosen players in the first half of the season. Meanwhile, he holds the talent that gives this team the best chance to win on the bench or deactivated.

Now you can add Ted Ginn, Philly Brown, Kyle Love, and Kurt Coleman to that list.

We really need someone to make these decisions who knows the difference between a practice player and a game time performer. You could have a Broadway performer who is a star in rehearsal, but you have to know if they freeze on stage when the lights come on in front of the large crowd before opening night - not 10 shows into the season.
