Star came to practice later on with an athletic trainer. Had no helmet with him. just an observer today.

Ideally Star will at least be cleared to practice sometime this week. It'd be nice to get him some reps in these first few games, even if it's very limited. 

I understand being cautious, but shelving him for a month would be just as harmful as throwing him out there right now. Big guys need reps to stay conditioned. And we are gonna need him at his best in October fusing that tough stretch. 

Agree, I'm ok not HAVING to depend on him. I'd use him as the 3rd or 4th DT in the rotation for that reason.

Whats up with Coleman?

I like his style of play. He made some big plays against the Patriots 1st team. I hope he is ready for the season.

Great news about CJ, Norman and Tillman... all guys that are essential to our success. We need Kalil, but I dont mind if Remmers is getting the snaps. We need to determine his value.

Does anyone know if it is Remmers starting for Kalil?

Coleman news seemed to be an error, he's fine and I assume he's our starting FS.

 

Kalil is on schedle to play Sunday, but I'd be fine with Remmers if it comes down to it.
