Let me guess. USA Today thinks Stew will go down with a season ending injury, leading to CAP starting. And because our passing offense sucks we'll to get our yardage from CAP leading to OROTY. You won't find a bigger Cameron Artis-Payne fan on this board than me.

But if CAP is starting, that means Stew is hurt and that's a bad thing for the TEAM.

So oddly enough I find myself pulling AGAINST this prediction.

But if circumstance put the Panthers in such a situation that he *did* win OROTY, I'd have a hard time holding back the i-told-ya-so's.  :)

If he plays well enough to earn ROTY then I sure won't be complaining.

Do people really think this little of Stewart? 

Stewart is the complete package. He has vision, power, agility, he is very elusive, a motor that doesn't stop (which has caused some of his injuries), he is 234-240 pounds of muscle.

The guy is one of the most athletic backs over the past decade. 

There is a reason he was a 1st round pick, and he would have been picked well before us if it hadn't been for durability concerns, which have been the only thing holding him back.

I'm extremely excited to see him out of Williams shadow and you should too.

I can't wait for the first time he throws a Jaguars linebacker to the ground. Maybe then everyone will be reminded of all this and will show him some love again.

If CAP ends up as the top offensive rookie I'll take it. That'll mean we got a steal in the draft. I'd prefer that he wait his turn though. Give Stew a healthy and highly productive season.
