That changes my perception a lot more. If not even one WR was picked up the league must know something we all do not.

That what they have is better than what we have? It's stupid to shout well no other team claimed any WRs when we easily have the worst group in the NFL. Who outside of maybe Funchess would get claimed if we waived them? Playing WR for the Panthers is basically a thin line between being in the NFL and bagging groceries.

If we're truly looking for another vet, they won't be signed until after the Jacksonville game. That way the contract won't be fully guaranteed. 

 

You may see us sign some young WRs when practice squads are announced, though.

I'm not expecting anything to be done before JAX, and probably not anytime soon at all.  Other teams are most likely happy with the guys they decided to keep and aren't looking to move them unless someone over compensates for them and it does t appear that we have any interest in anyone already out there.

Oh, there are indeed other teams who are thin, hurting or unproven at wide receiver, but given your complete inability to be objective (Panthers bad, everybody else good) I doubt it'd make a difference to you.

Kudos for finding something else to b--ch about now that Cam's contract is signed though. You must be pretty happy.
