All WR Cuts with links

What I'm saying is why are these teams trying out 13 WRs?

At one point we had 12, and I believe we've cut  6, 7 if you count Lucas who transitioned from WR to TE during training camp.  If Hill and Benji weren't injured we might have cut another...

Browning

Capers

Boykin

Byrd

Mike Brown

Bersin

Lucas

I don't see a savior in that group so no, I don't see the point in "kicking the tires" on any of them.  It's going to take some luck in landing more help at RW through cuts.   Whoever they sign, if they do, will have been thoroughly scouted, that much I do know and I trust the FO to do what they can to upgrade the position.

This is sorta like the OT threads we had last year about this time

Oh, you mean like Mike Remmers OT, Kurt Coleman S, Kyle Love DT, Teddy Williams CB, Garrett Gilkey OG, Matt Paradis OG, and Jeremiah Sirles OT? They were all on my list last season for players to be picked up after cuts.

You know what I heard when I said DeCoud, Harper, Cason, White, Silatolu, Chandler, and Bell needed to be replaced by them at the end of preseason? The same garbage of how bad these cut players were and they are not able to play for the NFL. Other teams obviously knew something and they probably had injuries people said over and over. That our OL was better and the Panthers knew what they were doing.

Your typical nonsense "lol" and "You are crazy. Gettleman knows what he is doing."

You know what happend?

Cason cut late in the season. DeCoud put on ice finally. Charles Godfrey was finally canned. OL struggles late into the season. Remmers is finally signed around week 10. Norwell finally starts. So many problems could have been fixed early, but they were not. People on the board knew better, but they trusted in the front office.

Remmers and Paradis are now starting (could of had them both). The Vikings just traded for Sirles to strengthen their depth, and Gilkey was on pace to start before an injury in a preseason game. Meanwhile, Kurt Coleman, Kyle Love, and Teddy Williams are all now part of the Panthers 53 man roster.

The list I posted people laugh at now. In 2 years, there will be some young players from that list as depth or starting for NFL teams. Meanwhile Nate Chandler, Chris Scott, Amini Silatolu, and Brandon Williams will be free agents that no one wants to touch, or still taking up space on the Panthers roster.

2.Hakeem Nicks was cut,  but reportedly the Titans may pick him up after week one. Moreover,  he showed flashes of his former self late in the season last year.  I would link an article (like I did back in the spring),  but it would be to no avail with this crowd. The Colts and Titans are both deep at the position with either talent,  upside,  or both. Nicks has had a diva-ish attitude that may play a part in teams'perception of him, and this could have played into the equation,  I don't know.  But I find it ironic that people just crap on him so much when he did a lot better than Corey Brown who also had limited snaps and purportedly improved late last season as well.  They are perhaps two different types of receivers,  but Nicks was the better one,  and is probably still better for what he does.

What's the point in drawing conclusions between Nicks, and Brown? Seems like a pretty desperate comparison.

Yeah I would hope he could do a little more than a rookie UDFA considering he was a first round pick who has been in the NFL 6 seasons.

You crack me up top dawg.

The point of my post, Mr Sensitive, was that every OT that was cut last season generated a thread "what about this guy".  Seems like the same is happening here after KB went down

Don,t take this stuff so seriously, you are not losing money here.  Of the 4 you listed, Wayne is probably hanging it up.  Gman should know about Nicks, Carter, who knows, Jared, would depend on docs I suppose.  Ultimately, Gman and Proehl will pull the trigger
