People act like bringing in young, upside talent is a bad thing. I'm not talking particularly about Carter, but it just amuses me that people either always have to be in the "we are fine with what we have" crowd and "sign all the receivers" crowd. There can never be a middle. We need more talent at the WR position, enough said.

All Panther fans would be thrilled with an upgrade at the WR position. That doesn't mean we should jump on every player whose name we happen to know.

The biggest problem with the "hey, let's sign one of these guys" crowd is they have a tendency to badly overrate just how good those guys actually are.
