He didn't do a lot in preseason, and he had a chance to come here but passed. I really don't care if we pick him up, but he's a project and we need help right now. I would pass, but we'll see.

Duron had 9 catches for 126 yards which would've been the most receiving yards on the Panthers and his 9 catches would've been tied for 1st (Boykin had 9) among WR's for Carolina as well.

He had 85 yards and 5 catches of the 126 yards and 9 catches in the last preseason game. That's a game with caveat.

in the three other preseason games:
12 targets, 4 catches and 41 yards.

That's not doing a lot and unimpressive to be fair.

Unless you know how many of those targets were catchable that stat doesn't do much for me. Same went for Boykin in the Miami game or whatever when he saw 12 targets and  not many of them were catchable. 

 

Duron had 3 for 25 in game 3 and improved the week after. Coming from the CFL it's going to take awhile to get used of the NFL game, it's different up here for WR's and what they see in terms of defense. I didn't watch any of Duron this preseason but his stats say he made progress towards the end which could justify giving him a shot. It's not like we have much else so I wouldn't be opposed but I'd obviously like to see us make a real trade and land an actual WR.
