Panthers choose Fozzy over Todman

As I said, Wegher and Fozzy were never in competition. Completely different backs. Todman and Fozzy were, and it looks like Fozzy won. 

 

Don't like this move, but it is what it is.

That's a bummer. Really wanted Todman to stick. Has the speed to break a game open, can pass protect, and can return kicks with the best of them.

Personally I am happy to hear this. Fozzy did some really good things for us down the stretch last season. Would have hated for him not to get another opportunity with this team.

First cut I don't agree with.  Thought Todman had the speed that the Panthers offense really needed.  Him and Whitaker play essentially the same position though so one had to win...

More like Wegher over Todman. Fozzy was never in jeopardy. Thank god Gettleman and Ron are running the show and not some on this board.

I had myself convinced he'd make the roster due to his talents as a kick returner.  #3 in the league last season.  As far as RB, he was no different than Fozzy, and possibly a little better.  Thought he had the edge.

Fine with me! Was all for keeping all of them but if I had to choose one to go it would've been Todman

Meh it's cool.  I bet Fozzy being here a little longer along and showing promise towards the end of the actual season gave him an edge.  A good RB was getting cut and it had to be done.

I would have kept Todman over Wegher and put Wegher on PS.
