Pitt vs Car Pittsburgh broadcast WTF!

OK so I put this in another thread but I feel it deserves its own discussion.

I'm watching the Car vs Pitt rebroadcast on NFL network. It is absolutely crazy how different it is than our. I wouldn't be able to tell you it was a Pitt broadcast if not for the logo. 

No overbearing homerism.Calls are consistent and not messing any name up. Giving background of college and draft status of players panther and steeler alike. Replying penalties and really discussing it. Complimenting good plays by us.

Yes Mick is bad and it really makes you see how terrible our broadcast was. The thing is I think this broadcast is better than normal national coverage too. It's old school with no bias.

I've noticed with these former player announcers these days there is only a handful of good announcers anymore. Most have a team bias and always go on about their old team. Some because its not a flashy or poplar team don't even bother to learn players names of the teams that they think don't matter aka Calvin Benjamin. 

I just miss the good broadcasts with well researched announcers that weren't more concerned about their own life than that of the stuff that's going on the field.

So funny, I'm watching the same and was thinking the same. Very balanced and fairly objective analysis. Far exceeds what Mixon brings to the table.

I agree that they weren't homers and did a good job being objective, but I feel like they did flub a good amount of names.

yea usually other team announcers make me want to rip my ears off, but these two were good. It was very surprising.

i think most of my hatred for preseason stems from "panthers TV" and their terrible broadcasts. so glad i dont have to see that again until next august.
