Okay lemme touch on a few points:

Us- Our offense is going to be even better than last year with it being 100% intact and even more weapons added, the defense will be as mediocre as last year or better. That was good enough for a 12-4 finish...

Chargers- They have no pressure on them, on top of being one of the strongest teams across the board. With Merriman back they're going to be a lot better.

Ravens- They have a good team but it seems very clear to me that while the defense is what holds them together, the offense just isn't capable enough. They will probably move up but I don't see them any higher yet.

IMO Pats too high, Colts too low. Steelers should be #1 until they start looking like they don't belong there but yours is one of the few that has them there I think. Agree that the NYG look to be the best team in the NFC right now. Not sure I agree that Carolina is the second best team in the NFC.

Maybe. But they are a very good team with Brady back. Things can move if they don't do well.

Colts too low.

They weren't a very strong team last year, would have missed the playoffs if not for a forgiving schedule. With the same questions heading into this year and no Dungy, I can't see them much higher.

I Not sure I agree that Carolina is the second best team in the NFC.

Took me a long time to look at it but the Eagles would have been #2 if it weren't for a disastrous preseason that kept their OL from spending ANY time together, they lost their leader on defense for the year and lots of other little problems that just don't point to success out of the gate. The Packers maybe but the Panthers are a lot more proven with the current personnel.

panthers are too high at this juncture. i do think the packers should be up higher... they're going to be scary good this year. The titans? too high, i think.

Spots 6-8 are pretty much a tie in my mind, I just sorted them out on how well they did last year.

Brandon-I see your point on the Eagles but I always think a team with a better defense goes higher on the list if they have a decent O. Eagles' D looks to be better than Cats' D.

Well the problem with Philly's defense is that without Jim Johnson and less leadership with the loss of Dawkins and Bradley, it won't be as good as in years past. I think they will be successful but there are so many more questions about the Eagles than the Panthers at this point.
