Panthers Comp. Pick Question

Does the comp pick come based off playing time of players lost minus players added? I just read a thing on ESPN about how Greg Hardy is now contemplating going to court in light of Tom Terrific's Thursday Throwdown ruling.

So if he plays a whole season does it better our chances for a 3rd round comp? Because I was kinda hating on Brady but if it helps Hardy and this, helps us, well then you go Tom and the NFLPA.

Hardy isn't going back to court for poo.  He got paid to sit out.  And he has already accepted Goodell's ruling, appealed it and is happy with the result.  This is just message board fodder.  Things will stay as they were.

He's suspended without pay for several games this year. And now their is a precedent. Hardly fodder.

As much as I'd like for the chances of a 3rd round pick to happen. Hardy is not Brady. Brady gets his way all the time. Hardy...eh...yeah.

Remember, once the initial 10-game suspension came down, we were pretty much DOA because recent history indicates players need to play at least 10 games to qualify...but then Domenik Hixon, who retired after sustaining his 3rd ACL tear in camp, somehow counted toward our picks this past year.

No one knows the exact calculation, but it's probably moot. We originally broke even, gaining Tillman, Coleman, and Trusnik while "losing" Hardy, Bell, and Dockery. That already put us at a disadvantage, as every team that has gotten compensatory picks lost more players than they gained.

Since then Dockery has been cut, so we're now one in the hole. Bell is a cut candidate as well, while Coleman and Tillman aren't going anywhere, and Trusnik is probably more likely to be kept too.
