This Corey Brown Hate-Fest Is Asinine

Think about how little he actually contribute last year. Ok he ran a punt return back for a TD. But the dude only had 296 receiving yards. At best he is a 3rd or 4th tier receiver. The fans are tired of the Byron Bell types that keep getting a roster spot because they are a coaches favorite.

Just think about your statement. If Kelvin want hurt, he would be our number 3 receiver. Just chill broski.

The bar has been set so damn low for this franchise to where UDFA who didn't even get over 300 yds has "upside" and "potential". Nobody would even pick him up if we cut him. Peoople act like these drops are a new thing with Philly. He did the SAME thing last year in limited snaps (specifically Vikings game where he gator armed a sure TD). He is being targeted more now, which is allowing people to actually see him for what he is. For the sake of our team, I hope he does blow up, but I I highly doubt it.

agree. i've never seen the huddle turn on a player so ferociously as i did that night. i think everyone's still raw-assed about kelvin benjamin so what would've been a "damn corey call it a night and give it another shot next week man" became "AIRMAIL THIS FUCKSTICK TO ABU DHABI" in the blink of an eye.

corey brown is a young player with a high ceiling simply by the fact that he's incredibly shifty and runs routes extremely well. he is particularly valuable on quick outs and five-step curls because he can shift his momentum so quickly. he's also a damn good blocker for being built like a popsicle stick.

he'll contribute this year.

This gave me a much needed laugh and I totally agree. What kind of pie would you like good sir?

Cut him so yall have something ELSE to bitch about as he wins a championship with greenbay.

If you think Greenbay would pick him up you would be just as delusional as our staff would be for thinking he is going to be good. Look the kid had a year here with mediocre results. Now he looks like sh*t during preseason. I think it time to give somebody else a chance.

Can't blame the coaching staff on their trying to harness the potential they see. When he held on to the ball as a returner he had some electric runs. He bulked up a little in the offseason which is good. The guy has talent but he has to learn not to shy away from defenders. Catch the ball and turn into the aggressor like Moose and Smitty did. Walter Payton would make defenders pay for even trying to tackle him.

The difference between a #1,2 or 3 WR or any offensive player is that aggressor attitude. It doesn't matter if you're 5'9" if you attack DBs after the catch you become 1st team material. If you shy away from contact you'll never be a great football player. Be the hammer Philly. UDFAs only get so many chances so you can't hold back. 1st catch the ball, 2nd run angry!
