Over / Under 800 yards Receiving for Ted Ginn this year

I will wait until we know who the receivers are on the final roster. If we will pick up a veteran or Norwood really surprises it might cut into his production.  But based on the first 3 preseason games he does seem like at least our number 2 and a legitimate deep threat.  Then again I told eveyone he was going to have a good year and that would have been even with Benjamin playing.  He would have just been a 3 instead of a 2 or 1.  After all remember that he was a first rounder.  I cant help other teams don't know how to use him.

1,000 yarder you hear it hear first kiddies.

While I'm not gonna say that I think he will be a 1000 yard receiver, him having a breakout year, even this late in his career would not be something unheard of.  Consider Brandon Lloyd.  He was in the NFL 8 seasons, but had a rapport with 1 QB (kyle orton) and when Kyle got the QB job, he fed him like crazy due to lack of weapons and loving that target.  Like him, Ginn has been in the NFL for a number of years, has only had marginal success, has a rapport with this QB, and he might be the only real wideout option he has.  I will say, if Ginn goes for 1k this year, I won't be surprised.  I am however not calling it though, I think he's more in the 700-800 yard range, but that said, it's also not out of the realm of possibility.

Under, but if he gets 600-700 and averages a big number per catch I'll be happy with that. He's going to stretch the field and that'll open it up for our other WRsByCommittee, and of course Olsen and the running game.

Honestly, that's what we need him to do. He doesn't have to get 1000 yards (or 800) to be very valuable to us.
