Over / Under 800 yards Receiving for Ted Ginn this year

Not that is really means jack poo, but:

ESPN Fantasy Projection - 30 receptions, 340 yards, 2 TD's

NFL.com Fantasy Projection - 12 receptions, 170 yards, 1 TD

And yes, I'm fairly certain these are post KB injury predictions.  Are they high??  Or are we being too optimistic?  I'm thinking somewhere in between.

I think 650-700 for him. I don't think increased reps will greatly increase his production because he isn't made to be used this way. Unfortunately, he may be our best WR. My hope is if he can stay healthy, Funchess will put it together and go for 800. 1500 yards between two wr's might be ok for what we are trying to do, particularly if Olsen continues to stay productive.

SOMEBODY has to get production, so unless another player steps up and becomes Cam's primary target other than Olsen, Ginn may be that guy. Think of Gettis back in 2010, it wasn't that he was that good, it was just sooner or later someone HAD to catch a pass. And that was with horrible QB's.

He put up 790, and 2 TD’s with whoever was the QB in MIA in 2008 (Cleo Lemon), and he had 536 and 5 TD’s with Cam in 2013, as the 3rd receiver but 4th option. So it’s not too farfetched to think he could crack 800+ as a primary target likely only behind Olsen.

The real question is who is gonna be the punt returner? WIll Ted Ginn pull double duty, can we afford the risk?

im going over 800. Only 250 more yards than his last season here when he was behind olsen smith and lafell. He average 15 yards per catch that season, so basically one more catch per game. I think he'll get that.

Unless Funchess comes out of nowhere as the number 1. That would be grand.

I bet they get another WR to do PR. Maybe Byrd makes the team for this reason alone?

Honestly I feel like with his increased role as both PR and full time WR we'll burn him out and he'll likely catch a small injury mid way through the season. Some kind of pull or something where he's out a couple games. I feel like that's what will keep him from getting that 1k milestone but he certainly has a shot.
