What we are facing now is child's play compared to last season.

If there is one thing about this Panthers squad it is that we are battle tested. While yes, KB is a big loss no doubt about it and our WR situation is a mess, I guarantee there isnt a single person that would trade this year's situation for this last year's situation. Lets take a trip down memory lane.

Offseason- Out of nowhere Cam has ankle surgery and misses OTAs. Meanwhile, Smitty gets cut and becomes a huge distraction trash talking this team and to add insult, we have to play against him. Ginn goes to the Cardinals, we now have Bersin returning punts (I gag just thinking about his atrocious punt return skills.)

Preseason- Cam injures his ribs in the 3rd pre season game, missing even more practice time and missing the week 1 opener.

Greg Hardy- Our stud, all pro, double digit sack cornerstone player not only goes out for the season after week 1, his whole situation becomes a huge distraction.. Players, Gettleman and Rivera do nothing but get asked question after question about Hardy, about domestic abuse, about their stance on domestic abuse and its a neverending story that goes on and on.

Byron Bell- Umm yea, he was our starting LT last year, enough said there.

Cam's accident- Cam then gets in a car accident, breaks his back and misses another game. So basicially our franchise QB has a bad ankle, cracked ribs and a broken back all happen in the same season.

Ron Rivera's house burns down- Yep, we all know the story by now. Rivera's house burns just weeks before our playoff match up against the Cards.

Despite ALL of this, we go 7-8-1, win the NFCs, get a home playoff game and advance to the next round to face the Seahawks.

This year?! One of our core players gets injured, please.. This is child's play, we got this.

Jesus Christ what is wrong with you. You spent the whole week bitching about the whole situation. Now this...

To be fair, you're comparing what has happened prior to this season even starting, with EVERYTHING that happened over the course of the entire previous season. Of course there's gonna be more hardships in comparison thus far...it's very possible we'll see more obstacles over the course of this season than just the KB injury.

    • Soooo many bad turnovers again. Luckily Martin played well.
    • Yes. Cade 100% tripped and pitched it to Mafah.  That’s not in dispute.  We agree on that.  Mafah got the ball, fell to the ground and then attempted to complete the rest of the play….which was the lateral to the WR on the end around.  You are calling the lateral from Mafah to the end around WR the ball popping up.   It was whistled dead.   Then they ran another play.  the review then awarded the ball to SC after we ran another play for what happened after a play was whistled dead.   How does that part work lol?  How do you recover a ball if a play was whistled dead for a downed player prior to a recovery?  I think the refs screwed Clemson twice.   That’s not why they lost.  Please don’t think that is my argument.   They lost because Cade chocked and panicked at the end.  They lost because Sellers should have been put on the ground for a loss countless times and they didn’t.  They lost because our over loyal Dabo wouldn’t bench his favorite hurt RB.    Clemson lost for lots of reasons. SC deserved to win.  Those calls were bad though IMO.  They exist in every game.
    • I can’t recall an NBA team with this many injuries.  It’s getting absurd at this point
