Looks like Panthers have signed WR Kevin Norwood

they were referenced as such by the media last year and most.  Graham certainly improves there pass attack tremendously.  WR talent in a vaccum......not strong at all until proven otherwise.

Oh, they just won a championship, and probably should have won another one. That tells me all that I need to know. Contrary to a simplistic narrative, they just make plays when the game is on the line. The Seahawks are not a one or two man show. No NFL team that hopes to compete for championships really can be.

Pretty positive that we worked him out prior to the 2014 Draft (sorry if this has already been noted).

I was hoping we'd draft him last year.  As one of the few who had a chance to see him play in person, dude was a great WR for Bama.  Had 38 catches for Bama in 2013, 7 of which went for TDs.

Great hands.  Ran a 4.48 40 at the NFL combine. 6-2/200 lbs coming out of college.

For a WR body at absolutely no cost to anybody (outside of his salary), this is yet another potentially great rescue from the trash bin by Nippleshorts IMO.

so b/c they won a championship everyone on that roster suddenly is legit?

Hawks passed the ball less than ANY team in the NFL last year.  There WRs were dogged all season.  Man reason they catch passes is b/c they rarely throw and teams overload on Lynch all game and get caught sleeping.

They won b/c they paired the #1 D with the #1 rush attack.  Old school.

But he missed time in training camp as a rookie with a foot injury and went onto make only nine catches in nine games that season. He was inactive for several games – including the Super Bowl – even when he was healthy. Norwood made only two catches for 18 yards in three preseason games – including none Friday night against San Diego – despite playing more snaps (77) than any other Seahawks receiver.

Well, that doesn't sound too enticing......

Looks like he has good hands though. Those 9 catches were from 10 targets.

Maybe they plan to graft his hands onto Brown.

Meh. I know what I have seen the last two championships. And it's smart receivers who get open and consistently give their QB help when plays break down.

Kind of like Norwood's scouting report...
