Looks like Panthers have signed WR Kevin Norwood

Welcome to Charlotte Kevin Norwood.

I can't imagine what it's like to have your life uprooted so suddenly and fly cross-country with virtually no notice and have to be on a practice field at something like 5:30 a.m. Seattle time.  NFL can be a tough life for sure.

Hope you ball out for us!

going west to east is tough.

Potentially getting your brain rattled every time you step on the field in pads is tough, and the reason I don't begrudge them the big bucks they get paid. As for a little jet lag, deal with it and catch every ball thrown your way.

just watched his combine and unfortunately boys, he pretty much dropped every pass thrown to him.

He didn't drop passes at Alabama. If players and coaches from an elite program like Alabama give him the nickname "Mr. Clutch", I'm pretty sure he didn't get that from having stone hands.

So after sleeping on this, I'm still pretty upbeat.

We got a guy with good hands that we liked coming out and can develop if he shows anything. We spent a conditional 7th in a draft two years away. If he doesn't pan, at worst we lose that sweet D2 special teamer from South Northwestern Technical in the 2017 draft.

He got a real pained expression on his face today when they asked him about catching passes from an Auburn guy. I guess he'll either get over it or he'll be looking for a job in the CFL.

In his 4 years at Bama, he won 3 national championships.

BUT, also in those 4 years, he had to experience the 2010 "Camback" Iron Bowl (where Auburn was down 24-0 in the 2nd quarter in Tuscaloosa and Cam led them back to a 28-27 win on the way to Auburn winning the BCS Championship) and the 2013 "Kick Six" Iron Bowl (where Auburn returned a failed FG attempt 109 yards for a last second TD to win the game 34-28).

So, yeah, I can imagine the pained expression was genuine... lol.

But, in all seriousness, he's a professional.  Just like Cam is a professional.  Their college football rivalries in the locker room are reserved for fun.  There are no rivals on your own side of the field.  Only teammates.  (At least that's supposed to be how its done, right?)

I'm not sure if you don't understand jokes or sarcasim, but that was it. Fans care about that poo, not players.

I'm sure you didn't understand my joke, or you wouldn't have posted that. If a player is dumb enough to let a college rivalry affect his play, he'd get cut anyway.
