Browns' drops, Funchess mystery and Boykin's rare appearances all a giant smokescreen?

So, this is probably a crazy stupid idea and a HUGE reach, yes I have my tin foil hat on but you know what, its a quiet Sunday night so why not. So lets start 1 by 1. We still dont know anything about Funchess when it comes to on the field, he had one nice sideline catch and a would be circus catch for a TD that almost was, other than that we know nothing about him because he has been limited due to his "hamstring issues."

Then you have Boykin, a WR that had a very solid season in 2013 as "the guy" at WR, go back and look at his highlight video that year and you see he balled out, but yet he has been completely non existent working with the 1s in pre season.. Why is this?! Hmm

Then finally, you have Brown. Who rarely if ever had drop issues last season. But now all of a sudden he is literally dropping wide open, non contested pass after pass after pass, literally almost any memeber on this site could make the catches he dropped without even practicing. I mean some of these dropped passes its almost as though he is not catching then on purpose for reasons unknown.

I mean think about it, if us as fans that live, breathe and follow this team almost every hour on the hour still have no idea what our WR situation looks like, then the same applies for opposing D coordinators. To be perfectly honest, i think KB's injury isnt quite the great news to D coordinators as we might think. Atleast they would have had a gameplan to build around KB and slowing him down, but now, how and who do D coordinatoes prepare for?! I personally think this whole WR fiasco is gamesmanship from Rivera and crew to keep D coordinators on their toes.

Day 230

It has been over 7 months since PanthersUnited created his account. Morale is breaking across the Huddle. There isn't much patience left. We lost people along the way. Good people. I fear we may not make it through winter. PanthesUnited keeps making threads. Jeremy promises that the servers can hold the heavier traffic, but this is too much. At a certain point, we'll have to ration posts among the users. I fear the worst. My kindred are fearsome of what the future holds. This...this may be one of my last entries.

    • Soooo many bad turnovers again. Luckily Martin played well.
    • Yes. Cade 100% tripped and pitched it to Mafah.  That’s not in dispute.  We agree on that.  Mafah got the ball, fell to the ground and then attempted to complete the rest of the play….which was the lateral to the WR on the end around.  You are calling the lateral from Mafah to the end around WR the ball popping up.   It was whistled dead.   Then they ran another play.  the review then awarded the ball to SC after we ran another play for what happened after a play was whistled dead.   How does that part work lol?  How do you recover a ball if a play was whistled dead for a downed player prior to a recovery?  I think the refs screwed Clemson twice.   That’s not why they lost.  Please don’t think that is my argument.   They lost because Cade chocked and panicked at the end.  They lost because Sellers should have been put on the ground for a loss countless times and they didn’t.  They lost because our over loyal Dabo wouldn’t bench his favorite hurt RB.    Clemson lost for lots of reasons. SC deserved to win.  Those calls were bad though IMO.  They exist in every game.
    • I can’t recall an NBA team with this many injuries.  It’s getting absurd at this point
