We def. should bring in D. Moore for a workout.  Dude has had some good numbers even for a not so good Raiders offense.  Was explosive couple of years ago then got buried on depth chart.  Easily better than Bersin and Boykin has shown so far.

Other notable players we should atleast give a workout:

WR Tandon Doss : big possession receiver (if anything will push Boykin and Bersin)

WR LaRon Byrd : Big physical receiver cut by Miami.

WR DeVier Posey : speedy WR who could challenge Brown for stretching the field.

WR Titus Davis : another speedy receiver for taking the top off the defense.

CB Javier Arenas : has panned out as the high draft pick coming out of Bama. worth a workout? Depth?

DE Cedri Reed : DE depth.

Pittsburgh traded for Josh Scobee, Det traded for Tim Wright, Den traded an obscure OT away for a pick.

Denarius Moore and Ryan Broyles are decent enough...they are at least NFL receivers

I think we're waiting until the cuts to 53 or just staying put with the guys we have.  If these drop heavy practices and then game 4 don't look pretty at WR, we have to do something right?

I love Mr. Scot, he's one of the best posters on the huddle, but I hate it when he makes threads like this and doesn't update the original post with the news. Like seriously dude... Do you really expect me to read through every post in this thread to find news? What if 75% of them are posted by PanthersUnited? I could die in here, and my blood would be on your hands.

I've been pretty much clicking on every one.  Most aren't worth a 2nd look.  lots of 5'10 rookie UDFAs....

Maybe a thread for actual serious prospects with playing experience like Denarius Moore.

At one point I was intrigued by Denarius Moore. But bouncing from team to team doesn't instill a lot of confidence that he could be an answer.

Other than the hype train he had on here, I've not seen any indication that he's any more than an average player.

3 decent seasons in the Raiders offence suggest there's some talent there.

Having a hard time accepting the fact Buffalo cut Fred Jackson. Not saying we should sign him; but I know someone is going to and he can still play.

I would love to have the Panthers sign Fred Jackson.  I am not a Panther fan, obviously, but will be at the Panthers/Saints game and would love to go support him.

 

He'd be a great signing for Carolina, as he is a very mature man, great veteran leader, and an excellent blocker.  He is the most underrated RB of the last 10-15 years.
